What's better - an i5 or an overclocked intel pentium?

I always thought that an i5 would be better but if its overclocked and faster is that better?

Bit late, response wise, but if you're still reading, for most intents and purposes I'd say it's the i5. This is an interesting read on the subject. It's not as simple as higher clockspeed = better.
