Went to use Dp's phone and it had a window open with 'incognito' on it. This is a function which automatically deletes the browsing history. He has no idea how it got on there, swears blind he didn't put it on deliberately. I gave him plenty of possible excuses but he insists he has no idea.

Can these things get on there by accident? I have no reason to doubt dp but it seems a bit weird to me.

I can open an incognito tab in 3 taps on the screen, fairly easy to do by accident I think. Although he could've been shopping for your birthday present? Or have your kids been using his phone?

Yes he suggested ds may have done it although it was straight after work so unlikely. He also thinks the phone's dodgy after being dropped a few times.

Thanks for replying.

Yes. I keep doing this in chrome. drives me bloody mad.
Although I am on the laptop and it is a certain keystroke combination that i hit by accident and haven't figured out what is yet.

Might be an accident, might not be, but what's the problem here? Do you regularly check his browsing history?

MikeLitoris · 01/07/2014 06:56

Yep. Fairly easy to do by mistake.

Your reaction is telling though. Is there a reason you don't believe him?

lougle · 01/07/2014 07:24

Oh yes, all the time on my Samsung Galaxy, which has a large screen. Both Firefox and Chrome has it.

The 'open in new tab' button is directly above 'open incognito tab' so your finger only has to slip by a mm or two and there it is.

What was the content of the pages? If it was dodgy dating sites/porn I'd understand your suspicion. Football results, not so much!
