And it is still not working.

I got the domain from 1&1 and bought hosting for another company (wordpres hosting package where they set up the wordpress site for you, I have used them before and they are v good) and 24 hours after resetting the DNS servers for the domain, the website is still not appearing.

What have I done wrong?

If I was sat in front of it I could tell you but with this little detail it is very difficult. Are you sure you've given the DNS the correct IP address for your website?

If you want to tell us what the URL should be and the IP address for your website it may be possible to figure out a bit more.

the url is timtonkin.co.uk (1&1 says it is pending an update) and timtonkin.com (1&1 says it is active)

The dns servers are:

ns2.1st4domains.co.uk
ns4.1st4domains.co.uk

Destination reads: Destination: Webspace (/.)

Name servers read: Name server 1: ns2.1st4domains.co.uk
Name server 2: ns4.1st4domains.co.uk

I haven't been asked for an IP address.

Thanks in advance!

Oh dear, just paid for someone on People Per Hour who knows about this stuff to have a look and he has reinput all our info but says that it was done correctly first time. He has raised a query with 1&1.

I have reset the timtonkin.com back to the 1&1 default DNS servers incase we just need to set up a redirect with that after the domain is set up and working. Hopefully that will help.

In the meantime, any ideas?
