Printing from an iPad

I'm looking for app that will allow me to create word type documents that I can then print off. I have a Kodak wireless printer but understand these aren't compatible with iPad so recommendations of a cheap printer as well appreciated

Pages is the apple version of word, that can be bought for ipad. It wouldn't surprise me if there were an app to enable you to print to your primter, but i don't know it.

Don't you need an Airprint printer to print from ipad/iphone?

I came across a really cheap HP at Tesco, £30, airprint, it's fab and used for ipad/iphone printouts.

Our wireless printer didn't work.

We have a HP wireless printer which works well with ipad, iPhone etc.

Do need to get a new printer though as it appears I do need an AirPrint
