Dropbox help please!

I have put the photos from my phone into Dropbox (I think) and I can see the files, but when I open my account on the laptop I can't see the photos....why!!!?!?!

Am I not doing something that I should be doing?

Can someone take me through an idiots guide to using the damn thing!!

I can't download photos from my phone onto my laptop because I have a stupid Blackberry which insists I use the blackberry bridge which doesn't flippin work and now I can't use Dropbox either.

Is it me - am I just a techo numpty?

When you say open the account on your laptop, what do you mean? Do you mean you've installed Dropbox on your laptop? What happens if you look on Dropbox.com, can you see them there?

And if you're backing your photos up to Dropbox automatically, they'll be in a folder called Camera Uploads.

Sorry - yes I logged into my dropbox account through dropbox.com.

Just going to look and see if I can see the camera uploads file.

Ah, hang on...still on phone I have noticed that when I look at the file list they all have the little spinny arrow thing going on does that mean it is still syncing?

Is there a step by step guide somewhere to how to use Dropbox - their site is almost to simplistic!

Yes, it's still syncing. Are you on Wifi? It may be waiting until you are to start the upload. There's a setting in the app that says whether to upload only whilst on wifi.
