EMERGENCY!!! can I change a jpeg file to0 a pdf????????

I've just spent 2 hours scanning a heap of documents, but stupidly have just started to attach to en email and realized I've saved them as JPEG (thankyou DD1 for using my computer Angry )

Please please don't tell me i have to re-scan the bloody lot!!!!!

My PC isn't on at the moment but does MS word, if you have it! allow you to export documents as a PDF? If so' you can insert the jpgs into a word doc and export it.

I've certainly done it with MS Publisher.

As Owl says, you'd effectively have to add the jpeg images into Word documents then save them as PDFs, which isn't a huge lot quicker than just rescanning them. Sorry.

You can easily install a PDF printer for free from the net. Cute PDF is a good reliable one. www.cutepdf.com/

Once you install all you have to do is "print" your jpeg to PDF as if you were printing it onto paper.

Are you on a mac? If so then if you open them in preview you can then save as a PDF.

Was going to suggest what Sitz said - although I use Nitro pdf - print the docs to files as pdf

  • or if you have shunned MS office and use one of the free office products - Open or Libre office (which I think everyone should do!) -
you can open from the main screen (probably in draw - maybe impress) and then export as a pdf...
