Are they any good? Can you get a decent range of apps on there etc? I have an ipad mini but looking for DS (5) for homework research, reading, games and watching some tv.

I bought one for my son and family at Christmas time, and it's been a great success. Lots of apps for everyone, email, browser, pretty good camera. For the money, very good value.

Should mention they had an issue (twice) with the cable that connects to the tablet to recharge it - the connection became loose. But Tesco were very quick to arrange collection of the original tablet at the same time as they delivered a replacement.

The protective bumper is advisable to protect it, IMO.

My husband has one. Loves it.
You can get any of the android apps from google playstore.

Dh has a hudl and loves it, we've had no problems with ours.
