Getting advertisements despite Adblock

Just happened this morning. I'm not very technically minded but I use Firefox and downloaded their Adblock plus which has worked very well until today. I've downloaded again today but I'm still getting ads.

Any suggestions?

Are you getting all ads or only some?

Silver - thanks for getting back to me. It's actually stopped again. I did download the latest version but maybe it didn't happen automatically. Thank you.
