iPhone 4 cover recommendations

I've just brought an iPhone 4 and have no idea what protective cover I should get. I want something not too big and bulky, but something very protective.

I've previously had a htc (desire) I think. It was rubbish, dropped a lot and literally falling apart. It's mainly me who drops it as I am an oaf, however, I also have a 7, 5, 4 and 2 yo, so the ph often comes to grief. The kids aren't allowed to watch programmes on my phone or use my phone in any way, so it's mainly to protect against misadventure! If the htc is anything to go by, it's likely to get pretty battered.

Any suggestions? I've looked at bumpers and otter box, not sure what all the pros and cons are...

I have an otter box and I love it! I've had my iPhone 4 for almost 2 years now and it has survived being bashed, dropped and generally abused by two toddlers. Including being dropped face down. It's not the prettiest cover but it does the job!

I have a cool red, cassette tape case design cover. Fiver off e-bay, seems to do the job and is amusingly retro.

Thanks...
cunty I've had a cheap one for the htc from ebay, but it was really shit, too loose, more of a liability than an asset. But yours has been ok?

mun I'm steering the otter boxes way. Does it fit nice and snug? Is it unnecessarily bulky?

It's snug, well designed and fits well. I got mine on amazon. It's a wee bit bulky, but I think it's worth it for the peace of mind.

Yeah mines been fine, but I think you might want something more robust.

I love my new hot pink spotty one from Amazon. Have not dropped phone so not sure on protection value
