Camera roll to photo stream

How long does it take for my photos that I take on my iPhone to appear on my stream so I can view on my ipad? I thought it was instant. Been a few hours and nothing. Both connected to same network and have everything switched on in settings. Am confused

Are they both on wifi?

Yup!

Mine does it instantly.
If I'm out and my dd has the iPad she can see the photos.
Not sure why yours aren't showing up.
Maybe a clever person will show up and help.

Might be a memory thing? Mine wouldn't do it the other day cause of low memory. Hope that helps! X

That should be plenty.

Both iphone and iPad need to be over 20% charged otherwise the photos don't go!

Just in case anyone else has a similar problem. I contacted apple and my camera app needed to be shut down on both devices prior to uploading to photo stream. All fixed
