photos lost ftom memory card

Taking some pictures at the weekend and suddenly all of the photos on my camera's memory card have been lost and camera now won't recognise the csrd. Have also tried it in laptop snd no joy. I know I have not deleted them, is there any way to retrieve them? These sre nearly all the pics we have of 3wo DS2.

I think there are free memory card recovery software applications available online. I've not used them so don't know which are best but trying Googling. Have you contacted the memory card manufacturer? They might be able to advise.

This happened with DD course work photos recently, cue big drama.
Our local specialist camera shop had the software to retrieve them and sort it out so may be worth seeing if there is a local camera shop who could help.
