Can anyone recommend a compnay for turning slides into digital?

I'm looking to scan some really old slides onto a CD to make a photobook. I've tried doing it myself and I'm not getting the quality I know a professional company will get.

There are loads of companies on the internet who do this, but the slides are valuable (sentimentally) so I want to make sure I send them somewhere safe and who will give good results.

Therefore I'm hoping for a recommendation, if anyone has already done this. Thanks.

you know you can just go to tescos?

Thanks. I've just looked at Tescos but I don't think they scan slides. Or at least it doesn't say so on the website.

Try Boots, their link says they do:-

This is probably one of the best in the country, but obviously may well cost more than Boots, or whatever.

I used them for years for photo processing, and quality was always good. Study their site carefully, as it's a bit technical these days. Also take out insurance if posting, or get a suitable carrier who will guarantee delivery
