Why is my iPhone vibrating instead of ringing when someone calls?

It's been doing this for a few weeks. I want it to vibrate AND ring. I can't see anything odd in the settings.

Does anyone have any ideas?!

Is the switch on the side flipped?

Look at the switches on the side, is the lozange-shaped one showing red? Is the volume turned right down?

Turn the volume on the side up. Sometimes it turns down pressing on things in your bag/pocket/child's hands!

Ah, mumsnet has the answer to everything. It was that lozenge shaped button. I had no idea what it even did, and it just took me ages to work out how to move it (it goes up/down lengthways, I was trying to push it the other way).

Blueberry - almost certainly the nimble little pickpocket fingers of my 2yo to blame!
