Absolute technical idiot needs to move office 2010 from 1 computer to another...CD lost...

How, how, how do I make this work? I have office 2010 on laptop and old desktop, need it on new desktop and I've lost the CD.

I have a product key (which should be valid) but the office website won't let me download a backup using it (possibly because I bought on special offer?).

Can I make a backup from the laptop? If so please can someone explain it using non-technical speak?

Panic over, backup CD was in the pingu DVD case (detective work involving things used on computer around the same time). I will be more careful with it in future...
