Does iCloud store videos as well?

Havining had my phone nicked this afternoon, went to check on the backed up stuff on the PC - in my iCloud stream it only has photos not video. Looked at the apple website which is naff all use, talks about backing up photo and video but the file I'm looking in only has photos. Their other option is pay £25 for a chat sessions with an advisor!!

Anyone techy on here know if the videos are stored too?

I don't know the answer, but now you come to mention it, I've never seen videos appear on my photo stream. They only sync to our iMac when I plug the phone into it and download to iPhoto.

Is it ok if I lurk and wait for someone else to come along with the answer?

Frustrating is the word - can't believe how quickly it went - luckily it is insured so will "only" cost £100 to replace (still cheaper than a new one) but it's the doing without the phone for a week or more (insurance will only deal by post, even though I have proof of reporting to phone company/police crime reference/original receipt all ready to scan and email) and the loss of the videos. (I download everything every few weeks to be on the safe side but thought that the iCloud was covering me as well)

I'm pretty sure it's just photo stream, not video stream.

Unfortunately unless you have manually synched them or transferred them via an application like dropbox they won't be available to you.

I back up every few weeks so have only lost a few - frustrating, was the end of term dance but hopefully another parent had a phone/camera too. Another was on FB (don't think I can download it but can still see it), so only missing a few Christmas Day bits but have got the photos.
