Why does dd's HUDL keep freezing?

Is this something I can fix? Usually happens when they're playing games.

My daughter's has frozen twice since she got it Xmas day ... I looked online and found a Hudl forum. Said to press a pin in back to do a "soft reset" which worked perfectly - if it happens again I will be returning for an exchange as it must mean there is a fault. Incidentally, our freeze happened when 1) playing a YouTube video and 2) running out of charge and rebooting with charger was stuck on Hudl star screen.

No, nothing lost. It is called a soft reset, so just turns it off and powers back up again. If you look on the back there is a small hole hole by one of the speakers. I just stuck the back of an ear ring in it!
