what is Talk on my S3

Someone popped up wanting to chat on it. I declined. I have no idea who this person was, or how it even happened.

Could somebody please explain?

There's a Samsung chat app called chaton, did you ever sign in to that? it's on all Samsung smartphones/tablets so someone else who's in your contacts and has a Samsung smartphone could have used that? There's probably a way to find people even if you aren't a shared contact, but I'm not sure because I've never used it.

Do you have any other messaging apps installed?

No i never signed on to chaton.
I do have gmail though. The person was showing with a gmail address.

I have been on and signed my account out now. God only knows how it signed in.
I dont think i have any contacts on my gmail though. Hmmm
