Does this pc look ok?

My dad's looking for a new pc, and with my technical knowledge (or lack of it!) this one looks ok for the money. Anyone got an opinion or can advise of a better buy under around £400? He's in his 80s and mainly uses the computer for typing up minutes and rotas etc, bit of internet browsing, e mails and storing photos.

He'd like something that isn't too slow and will be reliable and not die after a year. Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

Looks good for the money, has loads of space for storing photos and documents, and with 6gb of ram should be speedy too

Can you buy from somewhere else though.
Currys have a terrible rep.
There is a thread on here ATM all about currys.
Don't know if appliances online do pc's.
They are brilliant.

I can't think of anywhere else to go in person unfortunately, he wants to buy in person not online.

If you have a large tesco, they have computers for sale.

I'm not saying that's the best place to go but it has to be better than currys.

Can you search for the model you want online, your dad goes to currys to look at it, then you order from a decent online retailer.

Thanks, hadn't thought of Tesco, will see what they have. I'll also suggest me ordering the computer online when he's looked at it, he's very against giving his bank details out over the internet but will probably be happy for me to use mine!
