I'm buying a laptop tomorrow, please help?!

So um . . Yeah that's it really.

Main purpose is to upload photo's/videos from my iphone and use iTunes, internet access for watching films and American tv shows and important stuff like being on MN.

I occssionally work from home so an MS office package would be useful.

Anytips to stop me being ripped off by the sales rep at PC world?

You don't need anything fancy. A Core i3 processor, 4GB RAM and a 500GB hard disk is adequate for most purposes. You should be able to get that for under £350 these days.

Do you really need Microsoft Office? LibreOffice is free and will meet most peoples needs.
