Building a simple website

Could anyone recommend something I could use to build a simple website? Already have the domain name so would need to be able to use that, and if possible would like to be able to build it on an ipad.

Have never done this before so will need to be fairly straightforward. I will probably start with one simple page, but would like the option to go for something more complicated later on, possibly with shop. I want it to look good on both pc and mobile devices, and to decently show an uploaded photo(s) (of artwork).

Some built in traffic analysis would be great too if possible.

Domain is with Go Daddy, but not keen to do all the rest through them.

Thanks!

Wordpress is the best thing for what you need. GoDaddy should have a one-click install for it, it's free and there are loads of free themes so you can make it look how you want. If you decide to go for it and need any pointers happy to help so give me a shout.

I had mine created using wordpress.....Have to admit that I got someone to help with the initial set up though but now it's up and running it is fairly straightforward to maintain.

Thanks both of you. Will go with wordpress then.

Thanks for the offer of more help too, Martha. Am bound to get stuck at some point I should think! Will keep you posted.

Yola or weebly would be a bit easier than Wordpress if you just want a page or two. Might be worth looking into if you find Wordpress a bit complicated.
