Help. Surface. It just won't do things!

Explorer just stops working. I can put an address in or click on a favourite, and...... Nothing! This is the second time this has happened and I can't work out how I stopped it happening last time.

And I can get a wireless connection when I am at home, but on other wi if networks it won't connect.

Any suggestions?

Anyone else have a Surface? Is it a surface thing or Windows 8 I wonder ?

That is because it is Microsoft Windows.

I have sorted it now.

I have worked out the differnce between the 2 versions of explorer - the app and the desktop. The app version was stuck or frozen somehow so I (finally learned how to) closed it down and opened it again and it is OK.

Wireless connection tricky because I think our home wi fi - TalkTalk - had installed a virus protection thing that was stopping other networks connecting.

I haven't got used to the mixture of apps and progrqammes and the mix of keyboard and touchscreen, and why is there no manual?

aaargh.

It is v good though.
