Academic software discounts - can I claim this on DD's behalf?

Contemplating buying an Adobe product (Lightroom). There is an academic software discount available for my personally owned computer. To qualify, I must be enrolled in an institution such as a primary or secondary school.

Could I invoke this discount on the basis that DD is in school? Or not, if it's not technically her computer, even though she has a user account on this one, and we only have one computer which is shared throughout the household?!

Yeah it's fine. Not many primary or secondary age kids buy their own computers. Usually you have to prove it by supplying a valid email address or something. You'll have to find out what 'proof' they require and meet that criteria.

Adobe wanted a letter from the school when I did this. It was really easy.
