Mac/Excel problem

Needing to do mail merge letter. Done them before but not on Mac. The data source in Excel is not merging and when I go through Mail Merge Manager I can't preview the results and when I right click on the mouse it won't let me run the merge....
Apart from chucking the whole thing out of the window, any clues???

What version of Word/Excel are you using? (I assume you're using Word to perform the merge.)
