Is my kindle dying?

It has given up warning me when battery is low, and instead flashes straight to the warning sign where I have to charge it immediately. Does this mean it's going to die? Any experience?

With any other gadget I would assume that meant your battery was knackered.

Is it old? If you got it from Amazon ask them - mine came from PC world and H bought at Whatever happens policy, they just replaced it when the screen broke.

It'll be 2 at Christmas, Bluesky (nice name) :) From Tesco.

Not sure you will get much help from them, although you may have been OK if it had been under a year. I suspect no one would do much until it "dies"
