I'm going round and round trying to install our old HP printer to the laptop after getting a new BT home hub. It says the wifi is linked to the printer, and has an 'excellent' signal (glad it's so happy - I'm not!)
I've tried downloading new software and drivers and it gets so far then says something along the lines of 'unable to continue - go away!' Of course, it's out of warranty so I can't ring HP unless I pay them some unspecified amount.
I've tried using both wireless and USB.
I've tried downloading the HP wizard to fix it - that says 'go away'.
I've tried installing the software (can't find the original installation CD) - 'go away'.
I've done everything I understand suggested on the HP website - 'go away'.
The help page talks about SSIDs and up to 13 steps - none of which I understand.
The printer was working fine until we installed the new hub - I've even tried using the old hub again but no joy.
Can someone HELP, please?
