BT home hub hates our new phone. Why?

Please help. Last duo of cordless phones had no effect on the hub. The new set - sagemcom- cause the hub to lose the broadband signal when a call is ended. The hub and the main cordless re-charger are in the same internal bt socket with a splitter.

Can anyone help. Please, please please.

Are you able to try the phone in other sockets?

Do you have any additional filters to try?

Is it happening EVERY time you end a call? Does it make a difference how call is ended, pushing button vs putting handset on charger?

Tried phone in two other sockets. Found another filter and tried that. The way the call is ended makes no difference.

All great ideas, but same end results. Every time.

Thanks for the suggestions

Broadband has just dropped out again when an incoming call came in, but didn't drop when ending a call.

Much as these words will strike dread into your heart - have you spoken to BT? We were having a similar problem when we used my Nexus 7 and new laptop simultaneously. After what felt like hours, I got through to a nice young man who has promised to send me a new router.

Please can I continue to rely on mumsnet before having to take that final step?

Wonder if it is the wireless channel, unlikely given symptoms but may be worth a try. Can you log into the router and change the wireless/radio channel?

I'll try that tomorrow. Thanks.

DH is home, I've explained my findings, testing etc and the ........ing thing behaved perfectly when I was illustrating the "problems".
