Facebook family requests

I agreed to a family request on Facebook (where you are listed as sister, aunt etc). Said person never actually put that approval in their page and listed me as family member.

Whenever I go into settings, it shows up as pending. I now don't want this person listed as family but can't seem to delete the pending status.

Any ideas please?

Ps. I'm looking at my profile through the iPhone app rather than on a PC.

you can olnly do administrative actions while logged in on the browser version .
