From laptop to ipad

My daughter has a laptop which she uses for the usual stuff plus online school. She wants to get an iPad to use instead. Are there any issues about changing from one to the other?

Check whether the online school uses Flash for its activities - ipads don't do Flash, so you will need to find a special browser (such as Puffin, SkyFire or iSwifter - google or look in the app store) Some of them need to be on Wi-Fi, rather than 3G, and I haven't yet found one we can use actually in school, as they can't cope with a proxy server, but if it's for home-schooling you should be OK, though there may be speed issues.
