Wii Remotes - rechargeable

I have been going through batteries like nobodies business. Please give me the lowdown on rechargeable units or batteries or whatever?

Just plug the base unit in, swap the batteries for rechargeable ones and put the handsets in the unit when not playing.

We've just got one of these do-dahs, handy for all consoles and toys!

or rechargeable batteries get the decent ones and they last for years and many recharges later
