Why is wifi so slow on ipad?

Has been fine but today very slow and sometimes not working at all. Wifi is actually fine on other devices so is an ipad problem. Have switched off and on as you do but what else can i try? Help.

restart your router, sometimes it blocks channels and mac signals and a restart will help, literally just turn it on and off DO NOT PRESS RESET

I had this for days, fixed it by going into settings~general~reset network settings. You have to renter network password but it did the trick for me. HTH.
