Nokia OS parental controls or filters

11yo DD wants a Nokia Asha 306. I am browsing like crazy but can't find anything definitive about setting up parental controls. Can anyone help? I won't buy the phone if I can't set up some filtering or controls. Thx!!

*I know somewhere on MN is a better topic but I couldn't find it, not even with Google.

.... I think sorted, I didn't realise that many networks have content control by default (more here).

Boy do I hate phone shopping though, such headaches.

Network providers do routinely filter on their 3G network but it won't help you at all when your daughter is at home connected to wifi.

The content control filters will do nothing on wifi. Best bet is education really. Don't rely upon filters alone.

That said, if you have a bit of technical knowledge or know someone who does, you could configure your router to use OpenDNS and that will offer a fairly decent filter for every device connected at home which will be good enough to deter casual/accidental surfing to dodgy parts of the Internet.

We have openDNS already Ta. :) But plenty of wifi-enabled other places she goes, and who knows what filters they'll have. I think she's tending to look at phones that aren't wifi enabled, thankfully.
