Very basic App question from a technophobe

I just bought myself an IPhone to get more techno savvy. So far I'm a bit flummoxed by Apps.
I got a free Boggle one which we love but the adverts are driving me mad.
I can see there is a paid one. How do I know if this has ads? I don't want to pay for it if it does.

Thanks!

chances are it wont have ads if you pay for it

I don't think I've ever paid for an app that has ads in it, if you see what I mean. That's normally how they fund the free one.

You might want to ask on here for a list of people's favourite apps - I feel v sorry for your iPhone sitting there with just the basic email and calendar stuff, and Boggle. :) It needs more apps!

I've found some items which pester me about publicising them via Twitter. Paid for, and I don't have a f&&*^% Twitter account anyway. That wasn't in the earlier versions, just changed in a fairly recent update.

With Android, you can uninstall and get a refund within 15 minutes.

Don't know if that's the case with the Apple Store though.

Thank you all! I have downloaded boggle and after 3 games there are no adverts so I'm hopeful!
Yes to get a list of favourite apps will help. My phone is quite pathetic at the moment.

do some searching - plenty of past threads have been 'can you recommend some Apps for xxxx {phone / tablet}' so you should be able to spot things others have found in the past.
