Three Mobile - Can you get a new phone number?

If you have a Three mobile contract (mine is a 24 month contract), have you ever got a new number?

I get so many sales calls I am now looking at a way to stop them for ever... terminate the number and get a new one. Is that possible to do? Will Three issue a new simcard?

Getting a service provider to issue you with an new number is quite straight forward. They might issue you with a new number with no additional actions required OR they might insist that you buy a new SIM which typically cost £5.
