iphone 5 or iphone 4s

I am due an upgrade. Do i go for the iphone 5 and have hassle with old docking stations/ music thingy( not techy) or get an iphone 4s? Is the hassle worth it?

I would go for the iphone 4s because it has some features that the iphone 5 doesn't have, and it's cheaper. Also due to the age of the phone, the iphone 5 still has some bugs that are being worked out.

The camera is better in the 5 though, if that matters to you.

I have an iPhone 5 after an iPhone 4 (not 4S)

The docking thingy is a pain however the pluses are its much lighter - dh's 4S seems quite clunky in comparison and the camera is quite a bit better

Mine was a free upgrade with a slightly lower monthly tariff (I will never understand mobile phone economics...) which is why I got it

Basil do the positives outweigh the negatives. Camera not v important for me

Depends on your eyesight. I lovely 4S but it does have a small screen. I have enlarged to text but its not great.

I love my 4s. Three iPods here so loads of docks, leads and car chargers, so I was not changing connector.

Camera on the 4s is perfectly usable, way better than the old iPods.

You can get a converter so you can use the old docking stations etc with the Iphone 5, I think it's about £17.99

True, but we have three USB leads, a car charger and two mains charges at least about the place.

Also DSIS has lots of iPhone 4 wires, very handy for bored children (grandparents are getting on a bit)

Had my 4S stolen last week. Replaced with 5. I see no difference really except getting used to typing on a skinnier screen! A bit annoying.

Think i'll go for a 4s. Less hassle and cheaper
