IPAD Users - what do you recommend please ?

Hello - have ben given an IPAD as a gift but & want recommendations for covers please - for those of you who have one & stuff it in & out of bags what do you recommend ?

Are there clear silicone covers for screen & back to prevent damage ?

& lastly have any of you taken out insurance for accidental damage etc

I have a screen protector and then a Tecknet book like cover over the top.

Haven't got insurance- Apple are amazing for fixing/ replacing screens at either no cost or less than insurance would cost.

I have an iPad 1. never had a screen protector on any of my touch screen gadgets . the iPad is in a cheap eBay pleather book style case. it's been well protected.

then again I clearly look after my gadgets very well took.

Expensive, functional but worth it if you are doing a lot of traveling with it.

I have an IPad for home and an IPad mini for my handbag

I use a simple gel case around the house with NO screen protector.

I also use a gel case for my IPad mini but I use it in addition to a screen protector.

If I travel with my IPad I use a padded sleeve cover like the Belkin one mentioned down thread.
