How do I block a particular IP address from hacking into my email account?

Is this even possible?

My email was hacked again.
I followed email account procedure to make it safer but as this is what I did last time I got hacked I'm not convinced it will stay secure for long.

I have checked my login activity record and I can see suspicious logins from the Middle East and the IP address used.

Can I block it? Will this help?

I'd be very interested in an answer to this too as am suffering similar problems. Bastards.

I'm confused. You say that you fear having your email account hacked. You then say that people from the Middle East have logged into your account.

My account was hacked previously. This has happened again. Same web based email provider
The IP address on my login activity record shows it originating in the Middle East.

It is possible that you got some kind of trojan horse on your PC that is telling your hacker what your password is. If that is the case then changing your password will achieve nothing. Its either that or your email provider has crap security.

I suspect that it's the former. I mean with all the millions of email accounts out there, what are the chances of the same people randomly hacking your account again?

What is your anti virus protection like?

Unfortunately you can't block particular IP addresses from accessing your gmail account.

If it is gmail, then check your settings, especially things like secondary email address.
Then once you are happy all looks ok, activate 2-step verification.
