Cheapest place to buy an orange sim

Hi. I use this space to ask the sort of really stupid questions that I would be too embarrassed to ask a friend.

DH hates mobile phones. He has a rubbish phone and I recently got a new phone, took the sim out of his (last used over a year ago) and put it into a borrowed phone, which he then lost. He now needs a phone PDQ and cannot understand that his old phone won't work. Where is the easiest, cheapest way to get a sim which I could put in my old phone for him? (He would obviously have to have a new number, but he wouldn't necessarily find that strange.)

Orange has quite good reception round here. (Although really that is academic, since he only uses it in emergencies.)

You might also find them in a bigger supermarket (Asda Superstore, 24 hour Tesco) ?

Tesco have them here at the checkouts for 99p

OK, thanks. I'll have to go to town and search the cheap shops later in the week. At least I know and won;t end up going to a phone shop and being sold something I really don't want!

Thank you, all. Got a £1 SIM and found (the mother of a) 15-year old to set up the phone for me.
