iPhone to HTC One

Today I've gone from the iPhone 4 to the HTC One, I'm unsure...

I've got a 14 day period to get used to my new phone but I'm worried I'm going to regret it as I've been an iPhone user for over 2 years.

Anyone else made the move from apple to android? Would love to hear your thoughts Smile

I did a few years ago, totally regretted I and got an iPhone as soon as I could afford one.

I got an HTC and it as crap, but hey may have changed over the past two years.

Send it back and get another iPhone! I went from HTC (crap) to iPhone and would never go back.

Oh balls, I was afraid of that!

I'll give it a week but I'm not hopeful!

For various reasons I have an iPhone, an Android (HTC) and a blackberry.

Cutting to the chase, if you like the iPhone and can afford £500 then stick with it. If you like to customise your "ride" then android is better and cheaper. Either way, none of these phones seem to last more than 2 years without repair or replacement. It's a decision you'll be needing to make all over again before you know it! Grin

I think it was niceguy2 who moved from Apple and would not go back. Just for some 'balance'. I've never been that fussed by iPhone... it's a phone with a camera and some apps. I have a few Android phones. They're phones, with a camera and some apps.

Yes, the Apple camera may be better (but then I have typically paid a fraction of the price), but I'm happy, and ended up with good mobile contracts that aren't above 15/16 quid a month whereas some pay 25, 30, 35 or more per month for the dubious luxury of having a 'cool' mobile :)

Maybe you should try the Samsung S4 if it's available, since you were clearly willing to give Android a go. Saw a comparison between the HTC One and the Sony Xperia Z and it suggested the Samsung Galaxy S4 beats both of them, but that individually they have good features, such as the sound on HTC and screen on Sony (though in the negative, the HTC One has a lower quality camera, and battery is not replaceable, nor does it have a micro-SD slot for additional storage... then again, the iPhone is similar on battery and lack of extra storage!)

I have an iPhone 4S and can upgrade now I'm not sure the iPhone 5 offers anything vastly different to the 4s and was considering the Samsung s4?
I would hold off upgrading but my 4s keeps dropping calls/signal.
