Samsung all in one desktop or Samsung laptop

Which would you choose ? It will be the main pc and I'm stuck.

The desktop is either an 23 inch or 27 inch series 7 touchscreen one and the laptop is a series 5 17inch one.

I just can't decide what would be better for our family. We have a 13, 9 and 4 year old so it would be for gaming, facebook and homework mostly!

My preference is a desktop, especially for gaming, plus it can't be taken out of the room.

On the other hand, you could get a laptop and docking station, then just plug in all the externals as usual (monitor, keyboard, mouse).

Then you effectively have a desktop which you take with you if you wish.
