Revoking third party access on Twitter

I had my twitter account compromised this morning. A tweet seems to have sent by me but I think is something to do with an app on my iPad. I've changed password and deleted the tweet but when following all the instructions to revoke third party access etc and go into apps on my settings there is nothing there as I've never given access or accessed any apps through twitter. I finally googled this and someone suggested going into iPad settings and all the apps should show up there but again nothing. I have turned off 'allow these apps to access twitter' which as switched to on although there were no apps listed.

Anyone else any ideas? Thanks for reading!

If a tweet has been sent and no apps actually have permission, I'd say it's more likely your password is compromised. Malware scan any pc you access it on, then change it to a password you don't use anywhere else, especially not in conjunction with the same username.
