Moving apps on iPhone

Please can someone help me before I stamp on my iPhone?

I have lots of apps and am trying to organise them. I've read I hold on one to make them wobble which I've done. Then I can move them from one screen to another by dragging them to far right or left, only it won't work. They just pop back to where they were. Any ideas?

There is a knack to doing this. Hold it against the side for a few seconds and it will go.

That should work. Or you can plug it into iTunes and then move them around on there.

Yes, much easier to move them around in iTunes on your desktop.

Other than that, you do need to be quite firm about moving them from one page to another. Show the iPhone who's boss!

Oh yes thank you. I was trying to get the iPhone to oblige through persuasion but now I've asserted myself it's cooperated. Loitering at the side to give them time to do as they were told and not giving in worked. Grin

I can't use it with my iTunes. A whole other sorry tale.
