I can't type over it or export it to word. Is there something I'm missing here?

You might need to download and save it before you can fill it in. If you've already done this and it still doesn't work then they've probably messed up their PDF save settings. You'll need to print it out then fill it in.

Might be wrong but I dont think you can complete/amend a pdf unless you have the full version of Adobe acrobat. You can find online converters to change it to a Word document, complete the form in Word, then convert it back to a pdf if thats any help?

It's down to whether the author created the PDF to have editable fields - if so, you can fill it in using Adobe Reader. Otherwise, try www.pdfescape.com/ - I've not used it but it says it will allow you to edit, annotate and complete fields on a PDF.

I did find a site that translates PDFs into Word format - yippee! It is taking quite a bit of tidying up though (weird boxes and lines) but it will look beautiful when I've finished!

Thanks all!
