laptop switching screens

have a new Samsung and in the middle of an essay but when I go on line it will switch screen when it seems to feel like it sometimes it is screen saver other times it is a blank white screen

any ideas anyone?

Do you mean "switching screens" or switching from one window (program) to another window ? (For me, switching screen would be for information display moving from the laptop to a separate monitor.)

Is there any chance you're hitting a strange combination of keys?

Is it frequent or not, and can you buy online or in a local store? Asking only to see if you can demonstrate it where you bought it, or if online then as a new machine, you might want to consider returning it under warranty.

yes it switches from say here to sky news that I do not even look at but is on the desktop already and I am not using the keys at the time I am using the mouse pad (or whatever it is called) it seems to be overly sensitive
