Transferring from old tablet to new

Hope someone can give me some guidance. The tablet that my daughter had for xmas a zoostorm SL8 has developed a fault (volume increase button ) and luckily amazon are sending us a new one. But when it arrives and I have to send the faulty one back how do I transfer all that my daughter has on it to the new tablet ? At the moment the more information that I am getting online the more confused I am getting. Help please.

Yes I can sync it with a pc.... She mainly has on the tablet photo's and videos and lots of apps...mainly free ones but some paid for . So is it just a case of connecting it up to the pc.....and them from the pc onto the new tablet ?

Yep if you can sync it, that's what the sync function is for :)

Also any apps you've paid for you can download as many times as you like free of charge as long as you log in as the same user, so no need to worry if you do lose them. Sometimes just transferring the apps onto a new tablet/phone doesn't install them properly so you might want to either make a list or just start again from scratch and re-download the apps she misses most.

I'd back up the photos and videos separately as well, just in case you mess up the sync or it doesn't work.

Thanks for that will try it when the new tablet arrives in the next few days. I was getting so confused with all the different info online. Seems simple enough but time will tell !
