Following my thread on "Is my printer really dead" - yes, it was indeed a goner.
Bought new and different printer. Set it up. Didn't work. Paid for techie guy to check it wasn't something I'd done - and it wasn't. NEW printer also not working! (Canon Pixma MG6350 from John Lewis)
Just got delivery of yet another printer - exactly same model as the other new one that didn't work.
My question is - to I need to 'connect' this to my PC, using software disc etc or, as it's exactly the same model as the one that I've just set up - will the new one simply need plugging in and nothing further?
Really grateful for speedy replies as I need to get this one set up today but nothing must go wrong this time!!
