Ringtones on iphone5

I want to have one of my songs on the phone as my ring tone but can't find how to do this. We have been on iTunes and can save a ringtone on the computer but cannot get it across to the phone.

Any ideas?

You need to right click on your song and click on "convert to acc"
Then right click on it again ad go to "show in Explorer"
Then you need to rename the file from m4a to m4r.

Then add the song again as you would a new song (add file)

It should then automatically go to your ring tones file!
