what is eating my broadband allowance?

we usually manage within our 40GB allowance but went over last month and we are set to go over our allowance this month too.

I use the same websites as before. The DC use Minecraft and watch Youtube videos about Minecraft . They play other games occasionally. Also DC1 has been putting games on his ipod touch (xmas present). Is it these things which are eating our allowance?

My parents let DD wAtch cartoons on You Tube on their laptop as they didnt realise and they went way over their allowance... I had never thought to tell them as I didnt realise they were letting her do it.

Games for iPod touch could be using quite a bit, some downloads can be 200+MB.

YouTube now does some clips as HD quality, so larger file size.

Maybe look into having a higher data allowance, the provider I use increased my data allowance when I changed package (meant signing up for another 18 months).
