iPod touch question

I downloaded a couple of programmes from iPlayer to DD's iPod a couple of days ago. I notice she has 30 days to watch them.

She's already watched them and I'm wondering whats best do do now. Can I delete & free up the memory space they took up. If so, how easy is it to delete programmes or is it just as easy to wait the 30 days when I assume they'll be deleted & automatically free up the memory.

Or am away down the wrong path?

I download stuff onto my iPad. There's a link you can click to remove the download once you've watched it.

Can't tell you exactly what it says as DH has gone off with it today.
