I have a macbook pro
I am running OS X 10.7.5

I think I have the latest Java

I'm trying to run Runescape

I'm trying on Safari and Firefox

It appears to load, it opens the jagex applet thingy that searches for updates

then it says, this is your first time playing, would you like to click auto setup to get the best something or other

so I click that and the little window buggers off and the main window just stays black forever with a banner ad at the top

It is driving me MAD

I ahve been trying this for a couple of hours a day for the last few days

PLEASE HELP ME

but step by step and as if I'm stooped cause I am computer literate but not with Macs

btw I am playing it on this pooter for the first time

I used to play RS but about 8 years ago

a fb friend of mine is to blame for me wanting to try it again grrrr

No idea but I learnt what a mmorpg was from numbers last night! Hope you get an answer, is there a fb group, fan site that might help?

I know nothing about Macs or Runescape but did find some instructions here,apologies if you have already tried this.
