Video convertor software

can anyone recommend a free one? I'm wanting to convert some video files to put onto DS's innotab. thanks

Aimersoft was doing a free (in exchange for email address) version of DVD to iPAD (results in a .mp4) so that may work. I have only tried it on one DVD so far and it was ok.

Handbrake. It's free and excellent. It does have a lot of conversion options but someone is bound to have already used it with the innotab. A bit of googling should come up with what you need to know.
